Jana Ames, J.D., Managing Director with the
Huron Consulting Group, will be the guest
speaker at the March 25, 2010 ALA Dallas
Chapter General Meeting. Jana has served as
an attorney and consultant to the legal industry
since 1989. She is a recognized speaker in the
legal field, having made presentations to the
State Bar of Texas, American Corporate Counsel
Association, LAWNET, and the ALA. Jana will
provide Chapter members with pointers for
successfully obtaining and retaining outside
counsel, as well as cost effective solutions to our
daily business management challenges.

Administrators (ALA) provides support to professionals
involved in the management of law firms, corporate legal
departments, and government legal agencies. The mission of the
ALA is to improve the quality of management in legal services
organizations; promote and enhance the competence and
professionalism of legal administrators as well as members of
the management team; and, represent professional legal
management and managers to the legal community and to the
community at large.
